Level Two
Level II allows you to heal professionally and so is either for those people who wish to offer healing to others and who have really made the choice to be of service, or those who have enjoyed the personal development side of level I and wish to progress yet further. You will need insurance to treat those outside your circle.
Reiki II classes involve the learning of three sacred symbols which allow the practitioner to send the healing energy through time and space to others not present, or to themselves in another time. These symbols can increase the effects of the healing energy you send, and give you more flexibility.
The decision to progress to level two is important and requires a lot of forethought as it can be very profound. Whereas level I works on the physical plane, level II works on the emotional and mental issues of the practitioner. I equate it to a long series of therapy sessions and some work is obviously required from the practitioner on themselves in order to reap the rewards.
It opens many people up to a higher level of spiritual awareness, and allows you to channel and hold even more energy, amplifying the current level you are at. Any emotional baggage or out-dated thought patterns begin to be cleared out which can be the beginning of a long, exciting journey of self-discovery.
The level two class can be taught in one session of around six hours, or more comfortably over two days to allow future practitioners to work on each other suing symbols and new techniques. It includes the theory, manual and practise of distance and time healing, and ongoing advice on how to set up a practice. The course currently costs £240.00 and you receive a certificate as proof of attendance which can also be used to apply for membership to one of the Reiki alliances or federations and to prove your status as a Reiki Practitioner, to charge for your services.
