Level One
Level I Reiki is the first step for those interested in healing themselves. You learn to aid yourself, family and friends to heal, but it can also open you up to spiritual growth; in fact, as it is intended for personal growth, the healing is an added benefit.
Through four attunements your body is “opened” to receive the flow of Universal energy and you are taught the hand positions to treat yourself as well as others, by placing your hands on the body and allowing the energy to flow through you and out of your palms. Healing at this level focuses on the physical although the emotional, mental and spiritual levels are being worked on as well. Your energy capacity is altered and cleansed; you can absorb and give out energy and transmute it for the better. You will draw more healthy encounters, “coincidences” and associates.
My Reiki I classes are taught over two days, as the sheer volume of information and the power of the attunements can be overwhelming if squashed into one day. On day one you receive the manual and we work through the ethics, practise and theory of the Reiki session and receive two attunements. Day two is for questions, the two further attunements (although some people need less) and practising scanning, a full Reiki treatment and the Japanese techniques that have only recently been introduced to the West. You receive a certificate as proof of attendance on Day Two.
Reiki I costs £120.00
As Reiki I allows you to channel the energy naturally present around you, it also protects you! You do not ever need to go beyond level I (if you wish to charge for Reiki, or heal those outside your personal circle you will need to continue to level II) but some of you may be drawn to Reiki and the incredible gifts it can bestow and so on the following pages I have outlined a little about the following degrees.
