Ayla embarked upon a path of spiritual development from a young age and found Reiki whilst living, and teaching English, in Peru. She studied levels One and Two with Master-Teacher "Maestro" Alberto Linares Tejada in Lima, and after moving back to the UK, studied with Master-Teacher Ann Marie Cap in Canterbury to reach Master-Teacher level herself.
Deciding that EFL teaching was no longer enough to satisfy her desire to help people on core levels, she has returned to college to study Holistic Therapies; specifically Aromatherapy, Massage and Reflexology. She aims to always teach and practise Reiki but also to specialise in pre- and post pregnancy treatments and eventually either open a natural birthing centre or work with the NHS to further the Holistic approach with new forming families.
